Yesterday I saw an adorable technique hot off the presses from Kristine John, a dear demo friend of mine from Arizona, and I knew immediately I had to share it with you all and add it to the tutorial library here at Song of My Heart. It is SO easy and SO quick! And I know you'll get tons of good out of it. So let's get started!
And here's how I finished mine off, using the Yippee Skippee stamp set, in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock, with the 2-inch circle punch and two of the 2 3/8th inch scallop circle punches in Tangelo Twist. The card base is Lost Lagoon and the cute papers I used are from the Flower Pot Designer Series Paper pack.
isn't that crazy cute? And it seriously took like two minutes flat, right? Thank you so much to Kristine for coming up with this cutie pie AND having it take such easy-peasy measurements.

Love this card, but I can't figure out what you did with the fourth piece of 4 x 1.5 DSP.

Goodness! I forgot to post one of the last pictures. The final pieces are glued inside to tie in with the front. I will get that up right away. GOOD CATCH : )

I have a bunch of DSP I've never used...this would be perfect for that!

This card looked complicated, and to be honest, I wouldn't have tried it until I saw your tutorial. Now it seems like something I would like to try! Thanks!

Such a cute technique! Thanks to you and Kristine John for sharing! Can't wait to try it out, especially since, like Brenda B, I have lots of unused DSP lying around!
