No, silly, I didn't make a wreath out of baby wipes! Although I'm sure it can be done! These cards were made with the Baby Wipe as Ink Pad technique (tutorial here).if you haven't tried it yet, it really is an easy WOW. You just mix ink refills in any color you want to get the varigated leaves. I used Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey for these, with Crumb Cake cardstock and Baked Brown Sugar ink for the Woodgrain background stamping, and a Mossy Meadow card base and ribbon.
I had a lot of fun coming up with different ways to use the 1.25-inch burlap ribbon on a card front to make each card in this set look different. Who would have though such a wide ribbon would be so versatile on a card?
I liked them all, but this one (above) is my favorite, I think! With the one below as runner-up. Which did you like best?
We played with this stamp set at card club last night. I was not too impressed with the card we made but now I think I might have to get this set as I love your cards! I could see different uses but this technique is fun to do. I was the hostess so maybe with my credit I will get this after all. I love the touch of burlap with the background as well as the cute little JOY and that gorgeous ribbon! Each card is really fun!
