Today's inspiration page is a fun combo of marching stripes and geometric patterns, broken up by circles. I took my color cues from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack and went with Lost Lagoon, Basic Gray, Hello Honey, Smoky Slate, and Whisper White cardstocks.
I chose a short title for my page, but if you wanted to use a longer headline than will fit on the Tag Topper Punches (two inches wide) you can place the tag lengthwise instead, or stamp it directly in one of the cardstock sections, too.
Most of the detail on this spread comes from the layout itself, and the patterns are busy enough that you don't want to compete for where the eye lands on the page. So other than a couple of small arrow punches, a button or two and some ribbon added for texture, it's pretty simple.
TIP: I used my Circles Collection Framelits to make some fun circular overlay frames that will sit on top of regular, uncropped photos, highlighting just a portion of the larger picture. In Scrapbooking Summer School, we attach these frames just at the very top with mini glue dots, so when we're ready to slide in pictures we can just lift the frame and scoot it under there. Works great!
I am super excited to make this in class tomorrow night! I have three stamping events, and a coffee dates with a brand new demonstrator this week. Plus this blog series, so I'm scrapping every single day! It's been a fantastically fun week in Stampin' Up. Email me if you'd like a free info packet or a "virtual coffee date" where we talk about what all comes in the Starter Kit, the low quarterly sales minimum, the 20-25% discount, and how Stampin' Up could fit into your life!
See you tomorrow for more of 31 Pages in 31 Days! Thanks for stopping by.
