Quick little page for your inspiration today, Day Sixteen in our annual blog series and exclusive challenge, 31 Pages in 31 Days! I am getting sooo much done in my albums this month! This immersion scrapbooking is the way to go. Have you set aside a chunk of time this summer to get caught up? Be sure to bookmark this blog for ideas to come back to later, if you have not been able to keep up with the challenges this time around.
Hard to beat a good watermelon pink, and when you throw in both polka dots AND stripes, it's really too cute! I used the In Color Designer Series Paper stack and the In Color Envelope Paper for this page.
I was set on using up the last of the adorable Project Life accessory pack we have been using this month in Scrapbooking Summer School classes, and I managed to eek out one more page. I STILL have a few bits and pieces left--those kits are sure packed with fun!
I love the little banner that is strung across the top of the main photo mat. It will lay over the picture when they are put in place. The little gold paperclips are part of the kit as well.
The black twine and other accents are a much-needed break from all the pink on this page, so if you need more photos to fit on this layout, you could add some black photo mats as well, or double-mat the large main photo to make it really pop out.
That's it from me today--Sunday is our church ministry and family day. Although "day of rest" might mean "green light for scrapbooking" for some people, since papercrafting is my job as well as my hobby, I try to take a break on Sundays. I have to talk to my family SOMETIMES, you know : )
Thanks for popping in!
