I tend to keep my guy cards simple because, let's face it, guys aren't usually blown away by all my frou-frou stamping talents and color-coordination. LOL! But I like how this one turned out, with just the right balance of texture and technique. These images are from an awesome new Spring 2016 Catalog stamp set called "In The Meadow" (catalog begins January 5th), and I used Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake inks and papers.
TIP: Stamping and tearing out the deer image, and popping it up on dimensionals, helps keep the relative perspective of the trees and mountains, and makes it a whole lot easier than trying to stamp it in just the right spot.
isn't that a fun saying? And it's in two separate stamps, for the best versatility of placement inside or outside your card. Love that!
This card will be one of 12 options available at the "card buffet" at this coming Saturday's Birthday Bash 2016. You can still register until the 31st at noon CST. I hope you will come! The weather's going to be decent and it will be a super fun and productive morning, stamping all the birthday cards we need for the year. Click here for details!

I was just playing with this stamp set this weekend. I love this card...the colors are perfect for a masculine card.
