Kids are back in school and Mommy's glad to be back to regular office hours! I got so much done today! And my stamp room got a good hour's worth of clean-up and put-away, too. Still needs some work, but a LOT of things are back where they belong, and that really helps the creative juices flow once more.
Pulled out my Blender Pen to do some self-watercoloring and add a little blush and peach to this amazing rose from the new Rose Wonder stamp set (page 18 in the 2016 Spring Catalog). I hand-cut a couple layers of the rose to give it some dimension, too.The matching Thinlets for the Big Shot saved me from hand-cutting the sentiment out, though. I am looking forward to playing with the rest of the dies in that set this week.
Then the antique-y look of the coloring made me reach for the new Timeless Textures stamp set to add some interest to the background. This card just kept going! I finally called it quits after adding some Subtles Collection Candy Dots to the sentiment. I'll definitely be playing around with techniques for this set. Stay tuned for fun!

Beautiful! I love the way you popped up some of the layers. What a great look that gives this oh-so-pretty rose!
Thank you for sharing!
