I know cardmakers have been snatching up the new Metallics Glitter Tape (free during Sale A Bration 2016!) but I wanted to make sure my scrapbooking friends caught the vision, too! These awesome new tapes are absolutely perfect for your pages, taking a layout from ho-hum to boy-howdy in no time at all.
Best of all? No "glitter creep!" NONE--meaning when you use the tapes, and when you run your finger over it when it's on your page, NOTHING comes off on your fingers or leaves a sparkly residue on every surface in your craft room. Amazing--I don't know how they did it, but they did!
Ready to see my whole page spread? This one's for graduation this spring... somebody's graduating from eight grade this May. Not my son, surely, for he cannot possibly be that old...
I wish you guys could see the sparkle--the glitter tape is sooo amazing! It really makes the page.
While I had all the supplies out for this spread, as I often do, I used the same papers, embellishment and theme to make another set of pages for a different album. It's a great time-saver, and I only have to clean up once for two layouts!
This set was a 45th anniversary layout, and again, the glitter tape just takes it up to what my husband calls an HNL--'hole 'nother level! I used the gold tape to play up the gold flecks in my papers, and accented it with Gold Foil die-cut letters from the Big Shot. My ZIG Painty Pen came in handy for quickly painting the wooden "congrats" die cut gold, too.
If you like the layouts I shared today, guess what?? Both of them are brand new original designs, from my new Scrapbooker's One-Sheet Wonders Vol. 3! Each of the six new cutting guides shows you how to take ONE sheet of patterned 12x12 paper and make two lovely pages from it. It's practical, economical AND pretty! Download yours instantly from my Etsy shop anytime. I'm also offering a bundle deal for all three volumes so you can catch up, if you weren't aware of these awesome scrapbooking resources previously!
Thanks for stopping in today, friend! If it's your first time here at Song of My Heart, I hope you'll take a moment to browse my store or subscribe to my weekly email (and get a free gift!)
