Who is like me and just can't get enough ombre?? I know "they" say that trend is departing quickly, but I still LOVE it. It's instantly elegant, for one thing, and SO practical, since you can get the look with just one ink color. So I guess my bee-hinder is still firmly planted on that bandwagon!
Here's three pink-pink-pink cards I made with Rose Red ink and cardstock, the 1.75 inch scallop circle punch, the Crazy About You clear photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Hello You thinlets for the Big Shot.
And yes, I squealed when the first one fell into place! I think they turned out so cute. There is pink all over the place.
I have more but I didn't want to bore you with them! But they came together really fast and efficiently.
I used Sizzix brand multi-purpose adhesive sheets to make the delicate thinlet die-cuts into stickers for easy-peasy application. You could also use a Xyron sticker maker or the Fine Tip Glue Pen, too. Wax paper (or the slick backing paper from the multi-purpose adhesive sheets) makes getting the words out of the die a snap, too. No more worries about tearing them as you get them out!
Let's see, what else did I use on these? Oh yes--Metal-rimmed Pearls, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, and the Timeless Textures stamp set (wood; cling.)
Have my cards convinced you that you can do this at home, too? Then my work here is done!
Thanks so much for stopping in to Song of My Heart today. If you'd like to leave a comment, I read each and every one, and would love to hear from you. What are you making these days? Where are you stuck on your projects? What would you like to see more of at SOMHS? Looking forward to hearing from YOU!
What set is the Just Sayin out of? It sure looks cute with the Thanks card. The other two are fun too. Did you have the grunge spots on the other cards yesterday? I didn't remember. Anyway, these are really cool cards! '

Thanks Chris! I appreciate the comment : ) The stamps are all from the Crazy About You stamp set, including the words. And you are correct, the other cards I made the other day using the same technique did not use the Timeless Textures spatter stamp, no.

Hey there, friend! I know that you are away on the SU cruise (or will be very soon) but couldn't resist coming back to tell you that I tried this and I LOVE it...will be case'ing it for a Quick & Cute class next week and I'm sure they will love it too. I can't believe that I somehow do NOT have the 1 3/4" scalloped circle....I know!!! How embarrassing, so I had to use the other "pointy" flower in the Crazy About You set instead....equally cute!
Sure missed seeing you at OnStageLive in SLC....but I absolutely understand the reasons why, maybe next time? Hope you have an awesome time on the Incentive Trip, nobody deserves it more than you to!
