Having loads of fun with the new Sizzix-brand Sliding Star Framelits, exclusively available from Stampin' Up. These cute and versatile wafer-thin die-cuts make slider and shaker cards a breeze with just one pass through the Big Shot! I made these two "tween" birthday cards in no time flat with the curvy slider piece and the coordinating Shooting Star stamp set. Did you see the honeybee and hive ones I shared last week? Can't wait to play with the paper airplane one next!
Suggested Color Combination:
Do you have a "tween" who is at home this summer, bored and in need of some good constructive fun? I have a twelve year old and a fourteen year old (heaven help us!) Kids LOVE these Framelits and the cool combinations they can put together. I just set turn them loose on my scrap bin and step aside. The Big Shot is easy to use with a quick safety lesson to prevent pinched fingers. And kids LOVE to be creative! They will come up with more ideas than you could possibly use in a month of Sundays.
Time for summer fun! Thanks so much for coming to see me here at Song of My Heart today.
My 15-year old grandson will be here for a week next month, and last year he was right at my work table making birthday cards for friends and family. I may just have to get this set for him to use! Thanks for the idea.
