Today's inspiration page will help you celebrate someone special! Birthday? Graduation? Retirement?  It all works.

This spread is for our final Scrapbooking Summer School session this week, and we're working on using up our Pop of Pink specialty Designer Series Paper and our In Colors cardstock pack. For this layout we used the gold-foil-embossed sheets (can't see the gorgeous gold sheen too well in the photos, sadly!) and paired them with Delightful Dijon and Dapper Denim.

TODAY'S TIP: Love the new ruched ribbon (pronounced rooshed) tied with thick white Baker's Twine, and how much texture is added with the Confetti Stars Border Punch, too. All sorts of fun things going on here. When I am "done" with a page, I sit back and try to determine if I have at least three kinds of texture on it.

Have I used Stampin' Dimensionals dots to subtly raise some pieces up? Do I need another layer on the focal point photo mat to give it more gravitas? Did I mix two or three textiles? Is there a barren, flat spot that needs more dimension? These sorts of questions separate the amateurs from the pros. Take your crafting up a notch by taking one more look before it's done!
