Remember the chalkboard project from the final day of Penni & Lyssa's Real-Life Valentine Crafting Adventure? When the season was over, I turned it into a scrapbook layout rather than attempt to store it (and probably not remember to get it out again next year, anyway.) Here's what it looked like before... and then after I unclipped everything and translated the elements to a double-page 12x12 spread.
The little pennants were already made, so It was just a matter of stringing Baker's Twine across the page for them to "hang" from. Instead of one straight line (boring!) I did three, and tucked the pennants over and under in a little bit of a weave. it added a lot of texture and interest.
Fun! And I felt clever, repurposing a decorating project that served usefully for a short while into something that will be useful for decades to come. Hmm, maybe I'll soon be sharing how I did the same thing with my St. Patrick's Day decorations!
Cute! The banner border looks lovely - great idea to weave it on the three strands.

I like the three strands. It does gave it more interest for the banners. Thanks for the idea.

I have to say, ThankYou!
I'm not a scrapbooker at all but what you share has helped me to be a better card maker!
Keep up the good work and Thanks Again!
