I am so happy we're headed into the fall season. I just adore autumn! Bring it on! Last weekend I sat down and made something to sum up how I feel about this time of year.
It didn't turn out ANYTHING like the clean and simple die-cut wood-patterned leaves I had anticipated. Instead, it turned into a pretty fancy card, for someone who typically has no patience to putz!! But I just followed where it led me and wound up with something quite adequate to express my joy in the return of fall.
I also just plain love this saying from Paisleys and Posies. I can't read it without being overwhelmed with gratitude for all my blessings. Even when things aren't going so smoothly, I got NOTHIN' to complain about, ya know? All in all, it was one lovely session in the stamp room.
I'd be delighted if you chose to recreate ANY of my designs, whether simple or fancy! Here's a complete supply list for your convenience. If you need any products, click on one of them to go straight to my Stampin' Up store. If you have questions, please email me.
Do you love fall, too? What's your favorite thing about it? Stay tuned for lots more autumn inspiration and even a few home decor items this month at Song of My Heart. See you soon!
Beautiful card... very striking!

Love fall and love this card. I have used all of the white washed wood grain from my DSP pack already! Thanks for sharing this design.

I love this card! I'm in live with fall for all the beautiful colors that surround us in Northen Utah. I always have fun at the pumpkin patch picking just the right one. We usually get about 15 in all sizes.

Yes, fall... bring it! I am a big fan. I used to like spring the most but as I age... fall is more & more my favorite every time around. Like you, I strongly feel like I have so much to be thankful for. And this card. Oh, Lyssa, you've outdone yourself! So beautiful! I'm making this one :)
