I'm excited to announce the arrival of our new line of alcohol-based markers! I can't believe the gorgeous shading and saturated colors available with these lovely tools. They leave NO lines or streaks, never get muddied, and dry almost instantly.
I used to not be very much of a fan of coloring. Markers were too harsh, and watercoloring can be really iffy. But these alcohol blending markers have made it so that I am successful EVERY time I color! You will be seeing a lot of coloring from here on out as I play with these new tools.
Some of you might recall that Stampin' Up rolled out a line of alcohol markers about two years ago. I bet you're wondering what the rest of the story is. Here's the scoop!
Due to a manufacturing defect, some of the original line of Blendabilities markers were prone to dry out too quickly--sometimes even before the product got to the customer. At great cost, the line was pulled from the market. Eventually, they even had to go with a completely different company to produce the best quality alcohol marker on the market. Along the way, they took the opportunity and implemented a couple of tweaks suggested by demonstrators about the way they were packaged (originally in sets of three, which made it difficult when one color ran out faster than the others).
Then, when the new markers were ready, we had a special two-week trial period just for demonstrators. We colored our hearts out! When they passed the test with flying colors, Stampin' Up gave us the green light to share them with you (and changed the name to Blends, so it wouldn't be confusing). I'm so pleased to offer this product line from a company that truly puts its money where its mouth is when it comes to quality!
