Isn't this a fun summery layout? And such a great way to use up small chunks of leftover patterned paper. It's from the May Class of the Month online rewards club--check out the details here.
My die-cut ice cream cones look good enough to eat, when slathered with a layer of Shimmery Embossing Paste! This was such an easy trick to add texture and glitter to my card, and it only took a little time to dry.
It doesn't show up too great in the main photo, but this closeup really shows the sparkle!

TIP: When I don't feel like getting out my Palette Tools for a small project like this, I use disposable eyeshadow applicators to spread the embossing paste. It works great and clean up is a total breeze!
I also discovered that the sponge tips also soak up some of the excess liquid, so your project dries even more quickly. That's a boon when you're an impatient crafter, like me! I'm always trying to adhere things before they're quite ready.
Are you an impatient crafter? Does it sometimes get you in trouble? Share a story in the comments below!
Love your fun design!
