Sigh... doesn't this look like a lovely place to vacation? You can almost hear the gulls and smell the seaweed. I'm hoping one of my blog fans has a house just like this and doesn't mind company! You host, I'll bring the stamps! : )
The country look this card wound up with was not what I had in mind when I started, but sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. It is bursting with texture and I just dare you not to run your finger over it!Don't you love cards that compel you to touch them?
I used the the Cable Knit embossing folder and the new Stitched Rectangle framelits to add texture, along with Basic Sequins, Old Olive twine, the Sprig Punch and Burlap Trim. But I think if I had it to do over again, I'd skip the Buffalo Check background and go with the Hardwood embossing folder instead. The buffalo plaid is a little busy, don't you think?
You can get By the Bay for FREE with any $50 order right now! It's just one of many great choices for reward freebies during Sale-A-Bration 2019. I love free stamps!

Love the card. What is to the left of the stitched Framelits. Is it stamped or twine and if it is twine- how did you attach it?

I usually don't like too busy, but the buffalo check seems light enough that it doesn't shout. I like it just the way you made it. I do think the hard wood would look nice too. This card will make me look a second time at that stamp set. Beautiful card.

Lyssa that's really a neat card and out of the box thinking. It's tranquil and creates a desire to visit a place like that. Color choices were excellent as well.
