My mom was so happy to see this adorable grandma-themed stamp set in the new catalog this year! She LOVES making cards to send to her 15 grandkids. I gave her this set when she arrived to watch my kids while we're in Italy and Greece on the Stampin' Up incentive trip! And better yet, I gave her carte blanche to use my stamp room while I'm gone. She is probably in hog heaven right now. : )
And yes, I gave it to her slightly USED!!! She would have done the same thing : )
I wanted to make a few to have on hand since many of my friends are becoming grandmas. So I stamped a sheet of the cute images and sayings for later... and wound up making four different cards even though I was supposed to be packing!
PRO TIP: My color scheme was Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Petal Pink, So Saffron and Old Olive. Those "hot" colors are quite intense, so I kept the layouts clean and used a nice dark black ink for the sentiments.
Love that the backside of the new shimmery laser-cut lace sheets are plain white--makes them even more versatile!
