I really love tulips, with their bold, unapologetic color, their early appearance in the spring, and their all-too-short lifespans. I have several varieties in my yard and every winter I wait impatiently to see the tightly-furled green knobs begin to poke and push their way out of the ground. Once they appear above the soil, it seems like you can SEE them growing, as each day they are noticeably taller than the previous day.
Timeless Tulips and the Tulip Builder Punch, then, was a natural choice for me. I've only had time for one play session so far, but it was a cheerful one, full of bright, warm colors and made easy with punches and simple layouts. I can't wait to sit down with it again!

In addition to general sayings like happy birthday and get well soon, Timeless Tulips also has two beautiful sentiments that would be very appropriate for sympathy or memorial cards. I always think of tulips as a hopeful flower, don't you? A reminder that there is a lot of beauty in the world if we just look for it... and that beautiful things often don't last very long, so they need to be appreciated in the moment.
This last one's my favorite of these layouts--I love anything that helps me use up scraps! For this card you use two thin, vertical strips that overlie the main image piece, intersected by a horizontal sentiment to counter the strong upward thrust. Design tip!!
Thanks for stopping in today to see what I've been up to in the craft room!
Do you like tulips, too? What colors and varieties do you have in your garden? Is the Timeless Tulips bundle on your wishlist?
Stunning cards! I really didn’t care for the tulips set until now, when I saw your beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing
