I know, I know, I'm late to the party on the lilypads! They honestly were not high on my list of Sale-A-Bration reward choices. I wanted the meerkats, the Golden Honey papers and the Thoughtful Blooms set and punch first. THEN I moved on from there, and now the lilypads are getting some love in my stamp room this week.
The stamp set is free with any $50 order, and the matching dies are free with any $100 order. The really cool thing is, $150 is where your order counts as a party and starts getting hostess benefits!!! See all the Sale-A-Bration reward choices here.
I started off with some traditional lake/pond style cards, but in nice vibrant colors to counter the spiky, stylistic waterlilies. I used Lovely Lipstick (an intense hot pink), Granny Apple Green (bright spring green) and some Petal Pink (actually a blushy pale peach color) along with cool Pool Party pale aqua blue and a nice crisp Whisper White.
The traditional lake/pond look was fun, but I soon branched out to see what else we can do with this set. Wow! I think it's probably safe to say this is a more versatile stamp set than most of us ever dreamed! I love these monochromatic hot pink and white cards. Very eye-catching.
The sentiments on these cards came from a great little set that is not getting any attention in the Spring 2020 mini catalog. Check out this inexpensive beauty on page 60. Seriously the Best
There you go. Did I change your mind on the lily set? Or was it already one of your top choices? I really like this year's offerings. Something for everyone.
Ready for some more fun? I'm continuing my goal of making a free printable idea sheet for all the Sale-A-Bration 2020 stamp sets! Enjoy!
Next up on my list of idea sheets is Rise and Shine, a new coffee/tea Sale-A-Bration exclusive ONLY available March 3rd to March 31st! I can't wait to play. It's still plenty winter here, and I've still got two weeks of recovery time left to go, so no guilt going into the craft room!!
