Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to Day Three of our annual blog series by besties Penni & Lyssa, featuring lots of not-so-spooky Halloween crafts you can make quickly and easily. Today we're starting off with a double-page scrapbook layout to feature those funny costumes you worked so hard on!
I love making Halloween pages because there's no other time of the year you get to use such ghastly color combinations, set off in black and white! Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green are the perfect combo for October 31st.

Festive Corners is a fun new stamp set for all your fall and winter occasions. I used it here to make a photo/journaling mat with the cobweb corner. You can use the corner stamps to make squares or rectangles, too. Or even stamp directly on your photos, using Stazon ink.
Yesterday I shared this tip on a quick Facebook Live. Making fake paper candy corner is so easy! I used the 1.5, 1.25 and 3/4 inch circle punches in Pumpkin Pie, Pineapple Punch and Whisper White, stacked in a circle. Then cut that circle in half, then in half again, and each of those pieces in half again. Eight pieces of "free" embellishments for your pages and cards!
Get the Goods:
- 1-1/2" (3.8 Cm) Circle Punch [138299] $16.00
- Layering Circles Dies [151770] $35.00
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue [110755] $4.00
Our last project is really cool AND really easy! This card uses the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and a Rich Razzleberry purple set off with black and silver to heighten the chill factor.
Recognize the punch? You got it, it's that crazy versatile Rectangle Postage Punch which I have highlighted MANY times on the blog. We just keep finding new images to fit in it!
My favorite part of this card, though, has to be that awesome silver mesh ribbon. It's sooo gorgeous in real life. I wish I could send you all a piece of it to play with! And I really like that it is not Halloween-specific, so I'll be able to put lovely wisps of it on Christmas cards, wedding congrats, etc. What a great trim!

- Ghoulish Goodies Cling Stamp Set [153362] $22.00

Don't forget! Penni and I are holding a Mystery Hostess Party!
Place a Stampin Up order with us using the code: AMKYN4PY during this week's blog series, and we'll draw one name at random to win the hostess benefits plus some of the projects from the photos. Everyone else who participates will receive a handmade Halloween card in the mail and a free month of My Layout Library! Offer open to US residents only, sorry.
That's it from us for this year's BFF blog series. I hope you've enjoyed the quick, inexpensive ideas and are thinking of ways to adapt the crafts to other holidays, too. Be sure to scroll back to Day One and visit the list of past years' Halloween blog posts, too--there are tons of really great projects to get your monster mojo going.
