Woot woot! It's Day Two of Penni & Lyssa's Creepy Crafty Halloween Adventure! We can't wait to share what we've been making with you this week. We hope you get lots of cute, last-minute ideas for making the occasion extra fun --even if this year is extra weird!
Halloween is Penni's birthday and The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of her favorite movies, so here's a sneak peek at the custom packaging I made for her present!
Do you recognize it? She loves Jack Skellington! And there's a pattern in the Magic In This Night paper pack that is just perfect for his suit.
This bag is super economical because even though it's quite large (about 5 tall by 9 wide) it still only uses ONE sheet of 12x12 paper. The lapels are hand-cut, and the bowtie clips on to close the bag with a little clothespin.
Get the Goods:
- Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper $11.50
- Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Thick Cardstock $8.25
- Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems $8.00 (color black with a sharpie)
As if you needed another excuse to get the Arrange A Wreath bundle, here is a Halloween version! Layering Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape cardstock with Basic Black Glimmer Paper makes for a gorgeously elegant card even before you emboss the background with the new Cobwebs 3-D folder.
Get the Goods:
- Arrange A Wreath Bundle (stamps and dies) $54.00
- Black Glitter Paper 12x12 2 pk $6.00
- Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder $9.00
Our last project for today is SO quick you could easily make enough for the neighborhood! Or at least everyone in the office. Buy yourself a bag of Hershey's Nuggets (better yet, buy two!) and eat a couple before tackling this job!
Stamp and punch out two pumpkins with the Harvest Hello stamp set and Apple Builder punch per treat. Then cut a strip of 1.25 by 5.5 inches long (any color of cardstock, mine happened to be Pumpkin Pie). Score at .5, 2, 3.5 and 5 inches.
Adhere a Nugget to the middle panel with two glue dots, then fold the strip into a triangle around it. Adhere the flap at the top, then add your pumpkin punches to either side along with a stem and leaf. SO CUTE!
Get the Goods:
- Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set (En) $21.00
- Apple Builder Punch $18.00
- Pumpkin Pie 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock $8.75
