Got some ink on my newest set, a freebie from Stampin' Up for attending our virtual conference last month! I was thrilled because Etched in Nature was definitely on my wish list from the new catalog.
This is obviously a set you would typically color... except you don't HAVE to! For those of you who like me are a little bit coloring challenged, or just pressed for time, a quick trick for those types of stamps is a monochromatic color scheme (one color plus neutrals). I chose Rich Razzleberry, a deep red-toned purple, and Very Vanilla for my combo.
I made these cards live on Facebook, if you'd like to see the Blending Brushes in action. They made such a soft, pink-purple background in no time flat. I definitely prefer them to sponges and they were much faster than sponge daubers. You will want to practice with them, however, and watch the video for some quick tips.
SUPER excited for the new catalog to start May 4th! Do you have yours in hand? Email me if you need a copy! [email protected]
What sets and bundles are you hoping I'll demonstrate live or create a class with? Post in the comments and let me know what is catching your eye the most. I wanna know!
