We did an easy trick at Calendar Club this month and I had to share! All you need is two colors of ink, a leaf stamp, and a sponge dauber (get them here). I used the Love of Leaves stamp set (it has the prettiest matching dies!) and Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for my colors.
Finally had a moment to play with my new Bark embossing folder--love it! It's deeply texture and feels like real bark. In the quick video below I also share a technique with the White Craft Ink pad for bringing out the grain to weather it a little.
I started this Facebook Live with a roundup of the week's mail, so if you want to skip straight to the technique, start it at about the 3:20 mark.
Adds so much more interest, don't you think? Especially for fall. Try this little trick on your autumn cards and let me know how it goes!
I really like this card. To me, this card is a guy card.
