Yes, it's that time of year already--time to start thinking about your Christmas cards! Now that we've seen the amazing 2021 Holiday mini catalog and all our fabulous choices, we need layout and color combo inspiration!
Today's post will share three completely different Stampin' UP cards, each fifteen minutes or less to make. Feel free to copy them outright, or take the inspiration and make it your own!
My first design of the year uses the Moose Punch (a favorite here in the Upper Midwest-Great Lakes area!) and that irresistible red and black plaid. Normally I don't use a lot of patterned paper on my Christmas cards because it can get pricey--BUT, this paper is actually FREE through September 30th or while supplies last.

The next design is completely different! From cozy and country to sophisticated and stylish.
This is perfect for those of us who like to send religious Christmas cards. I love the stylized wise men artwork, and this design allows it to shine while not having to color in all those intricately patterned fabrics! I used the Great Tidings stamp set and dies bundle and an elegant combo of Blackberry Bliss purple and Crumb Cake, with Brushed Metallic cardstock and matching dots.
My third design for today is likewise completely different from the others! Don't you love how versatile stamping is these days? There is truly something for everyone.
My favorite holiday cards to make, besides ones that talk about Jesus, are snowflake themed!! We get a lot of the cold white stuff here in Wisconsin and it really is pretty (to look at from the window, with hot tea in hand and slippers on!)
For this design I used the Thick Basic White cardstock accented with a 1 x 5.5 inch strip of Whimsy & Wonder 12x12 patterned paper. The specialty foil embossing on this paper pack is actually iridescent, so whatever color you pair with it is what the shiny stripes will show. I used Pool Party ink and cardstock for my accents, and the focal point is a gorgeously intricate LASER-CUT iridescent snowflake! That saves SO much time and doesn't require any machines or tools, making it perfect for mass-producing cards.
Wow! How different each of these cards are, yet all are easy to make and don't require a lot of supplies. I hope you're already getting inspired for your own Christmas card-making this year!
