I really like the Watercolor World map stamp from the spring mini catalog, so I was delighted to have an excuse to play with it when I came up with this travel postcard-look card idea. Isn't it fun? And bonus, you don't have to color the images! This is my masculine card for the month, for sure.
In The Country is a free stamp set you can choose with any $50 order during Jan/Feb 2023 for Sale-A-Bration! It wasn't my first choice, but after playing with it I am glad it found it's way (free!!) to my stamp shelf. Here's a few of my favorite things I've made with it!
I had fun trying watercolor pencils and Stampin' Blends with these images, and often ended up with both! The watercolored parts gave the softness and the Blends added depth. If you like coloring, this would be a great choice.
I paired all these In The Country cards with the Sending Support stamp set, also a Sale-A-Bration exclusive. I like the sentiments in it, and I like that it has both inside and outside sayings, but if you get it just be prepared. The words on some of the sayings are REALLY small. You will not want to send those to senior citizens or people with visual difficulties. You can help the readability of them by making sure you stamp the sentiments in the darkest ink color that coordinates with your project, too.
Are you having fun gathering ideas for your free Sale-A-Bration stamp sets? Stay tuned for more! I managed to get my hands on ALL of the SAB 2023 choices and I'm working my way through each one. Seriously, my job is so fun! You should join me at Embellish (if you're local) or at an online stamp camp soon and we'll stamp together!
