So long, Whisper White!

It's time to say goodbye to our beloved Whisper White! The paper mill where this exclusive ultrasmooth cardstock was made has closed down permanently, I am so sorry to report. While it is inconvenient for us paper crafters, our hearts go out to the mill workers whose jobs were lost, most of all.

Stampin' Up has prepared for the big switch in manufacturers and is introducing the new Basic White in 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 12 cardstock as well as envelopes, notecards, Memories & More cards, and anything else that used to come in Whisper White. Thankfully, because Stampin' Up insists on the very best quality, I know our crafting will not be affected by crummy cardstock. I've become very picky about my cardstock after so many years of being spoiled with the tippy-top of the line stuff!

While it lasts, you may still order Whisper White cardstock and envelopes, limit 2, on each order you place. I will be sure to let you know when that stock is depleted. The new Basic White is on the way, so we're not anticipating any big delays on this cardmaking staple.

Here are the samples I made with this kit back in May. They were soooo pretty and soooo easy to pull together, since everything matched.

Wow, huh? These papers are really cute. You'll want Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiments, and you might pick up the new Delicata Copper ink pad too, as it would be gorgeous with the embossed foil papers and copper accents. Anything that looks "brown" in this photos is actually copper that isn't showing up well.

These were all made in just a couple of crafting sessions, too. Everything came together really quickly. All I had to do was cut some card bases in pinks and blues and white.
