Whoo hoo! My demonstrator pre-order arrived this morning and I couldn't resist breaking open that box and getting out the new colors. I look forward to this so much every year! Here are the new colors in rainbow order: Flirty Flamingo (a pinky light coral); Peekaboo Peach (a warm yellow peach); Emerald Envy (a jewel-tone teal green); Dapper Denim (an indigo-tinted medium blue); and Sweet Sugarplum (a soft lavender with lots of orchid in it). It was so awesome to see them in person!
New 2016-18 In Color Collection from Stampin' Up!
Of course I couldn't use new colors without new stamps, could I? The first one I opened up was Perfectly Wrapped. It's designed to go with a gorgeous DIY packaging kit in the new catalog, but as you can see, it also works GREAT on it's own for cards and scrapbook pages!

When I get the new colors I have a little tradition of grabbing a pack of Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes and allowing myself permission to just experiment and play, with zero expectations of anything "having" to be perfect. There's twenty in a pack for only $5.95, and I ought to be able to produce something reasonably cute by the time I get to the last few, right?
But so far everything has turned out so cute, I already have things to share and nothing has ended up in the round file. Not too shabby for the first three things off the press!

CUT TO THE CHASE, Lyssa!! Tell us how WE can get OUR new colors, right??!
Well, only demonstrators have them currently. They will be available to order beginning June 1st for everyone else. But... if you sign up to be a demonstrator right now, you can get the new In Colors plus a bunch of other sweet products from the demonstrator-preorder, and you'll be getting the demo discount on everything you purchase from here on out. It just makes financial sense, folks... click here for details on the "ultimate Stampin' Up bundle," the Starter Kit!
Oh, this year is going to be so fun. I tell ya, 11 years at this and my heart still speeds up at the sound of the UPS truck goosin' it around our corner and squealing to a halt in front of our house!
